Abstract
La prevalencia de obesidad depende de factores biopsicosociales y ambientales, y es un factor de riesgo para enfermedades transmisibles y no transmisibles. Objetivo: Determinar la asociación entre las características demográficas, socioeconómicas y del estilo de vida, y la presencia de obesidad y sus comorbilidades metabólicas (CM) en adultos de la ciudad de San Luis, Argentina. Estudio observacional-poblacional-transversal en 306 individuos entre 18 y 85 años de San Luis, Argentina, seleccionados mediante un muestreo aleatorio multietápico, considerando una prevalencia de sobrepeso del 35% y un error de 0,05.
