TL;DR
This paper studies the role of the $a_0(1710)$ scalar meson in specific $J/ar{J}$ decay processes, predicting observable peaks in invariant mass distributions that can be tested by future experiments.
Contribution
It demonstrates that the $a_0(1710)$ resonance can be dynamically generated in decay processes and predicts clear experimental signatures for its observation.
Findings
A peak around 1.8 GeV in $ ho^ ext{+} ho^ ext{-} ext{omega}$ invariant mass distribution.
A predicted peak in the $ ho^0 ext{omega}$ invariant mass distribution.
Future experiments can observe these peaks to better determine $a_0(1710)$ properties.
Abstract
We investigate the strong decay and the radiative decay , taking into account the -wave , and final-state interactions that dynamically generate the scalar meson . Our results demonstrate that a clear peak structure emerges around 1.8~GeV in the ~() invariant mass distribution of the strong decay, which can be associated with the resonance. Similarly, a distinct peak is predicted in the invariant mass distribution of the radiative decay. Our results show that clear peaks for the production should be observed in future experimental measurements of these processes by the BESIII and Belle II Collaborations, as well as the planned Super Tau-Charm Facility (STCF), helping to get more precise values of mass and…
