TL;DR
NMSSMScanner is a new tool designed for efficient exploration of the NMSSM parameter space, considering all constraints, demonstrated by maximizing Higgs pair production in specific scenarios.
Contribution
It introduces NMSSMScanner, a novel scanning tool for the NMSSM, capable of handling complex parameters and constraints efficiently.
Findings
Successfully identified NMSSM parameters that maximize Higgs pair production.
Demonstrated the tool's capability in a proof-of-concept search.
Validated the efficiency of the scanning method.
Abstract
We present the first version of the new scanning tool NMSSMScanner that allows to perform efficient scans in the complex multi-parameter space of the Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model (NMSSM) while taking into account all relevant constraints. As a proof of concept we apply it to the search for NMSSM parameter configurations that maximize Higgs boson pair production from resonant scalar or pseudoscalar production in various final states.
