Shin Kiriki, Xiaolong Li, Yushi Nakano, Teruhiko Soma

TL;DR
This paper constructs a specific dynamical system with a wild affine blender-horseshoe that exhibits a robust obstruction to extending strong pluripotency from a subset to the entire horseshoe.
Contribution
It demonstrates the existence of a $C^r$-diffeomorphism with a wild affine blender-horseshoe showing a robust obstruction to full strong pluripotency.
Findings
Existence of a $C^r$-diffeomorphism with a wild affine blender-horseshoe.
Robust obstruction to extending strong pluripotency.
The obstruction is within the affine blender-horseshoe family.
Abstract
Suppose that is a closed manifold of dimension greater than two and . We show that there exists a -diffeomorphism with a wild affine blender-horseshoe which is -robustly and strongly pluripotent for but not for , where is the subset of consisting of elements with the majority condition. Thus, within the present affine blender-horseshoe family in [KNS], there is a robust obstruction to extending the strong pluripotency from to the whole horseshoe.
