TL;DR
This paper reports lattice QCD calculations of the inclusive semileptonic $D_s$ decay rate, including chiral and continuum extrapolations, achieving results consistent with experimental data at a few-percent precision.
Contribution
The study provides the first comprehensive lattice QCD determination of the inclusive $D_s$ semileptonic decay rate with systematic error control.
Findings
Results agree with experimental data within a few percent.
Systematic errors, including all possible final states, are fully addressed.
Chiral and continuum extrapolations are successfully performed using 2+1 flavor M"obius domain-wall fermions.
Abstract
We present results for the inclusive semileptonic decay rate from lattice QCD. Chiral and continuum extrapolations are performed using gauge ensembles generated with 2+1 flavours of M\"obius domain-wall fermions. Systematic errors are fully addressed including those from the integral over all possible final states. Our results are in agreement with currently available experimental data, with an error at the few-percent level.
