TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that vertex operators of a chiral boson in 1+1 dimensions can explicitly realize dichotomic, Hermitian operators that achieve the maximal quantum violation of the Bell-CHSH inequality in vacuum.
Contribution
It shows a concrete realization of Bell inequality violation using vertex operators in a quantum field theory setting.
Findings
Vertex operators provide dichotomic, Hermitian operators.
These operators saturate the Tsirelson bound.
Maximal Bell-CHSH violation is achieved in the vacuum state.
Abstract
It is pointed out that the vertex operators of a chiral boson in 1+1 dimensions provide an explicit realization of dichotomic, bounded, Hermitian operators that saturate the Tsirelson bound of the Bell-CHSH inequality in the vacuum state.
