TL;DR
This paper studies spin-3/2 fermion scattering via a Yukawa-like interaction in a Rarita-Schwinger model, analyzing zero and finite temperature effects on cross sections using Thermofield Dynamics.
Contribution
It introduces a modified interaction in the Rarita-Schwinger model and computes scattering cross sections at different temperatures, including thermal effects.
Findings
Differential and total cross sections are obtained for various regimes.
Thermal effects significantly influence scattering behavior.
Short-range and long-range limits are analyzed at zero and finite temperatures.
Abstract
In this work, we investigate the scattering of spin- fermionic particles mediated by a Yukawa-like coupling in the context of the massive Rarita-Schwinger model. The interaction is introduced by replacing in the free spin- Lagrangian. The analysis is performed at both zero and finite temperatures. In the latter case, thermal effects are incorporated using the Thermofield Dynamics (TFD) formalism. In both regimes, we obtain the differential and total cross sections and examine their behavior in the short-range () and long-range () limits, in order to analyze the influence of zero- and finite-temperature effects.
