Edivaldo L. dos Santos, Telmo I. Acosta Vellozo

TL;DR
This paper investigates how codimension-1 maps to generalized manifolds influence the separation of space, providing estimates on the number of connected components in the complement of their images.
Contribution
It establishes new separation results for codimension-1 maps to generalized manifolds, including bounds on the number of connected components of their complements.
Findings
Derived estimates for the number of connected components in the complement
Established separation properties for codimension-1 maps
Extended results to generalized manifolds
Abstract
In this work, we obtained separation results via codimension-1 maps to generalized manifolds. More specifically, we proved results that allow us to estimate the number of connected components of the complement of the image of such maps.
