Contribution
It introduces a detailed calculation within the multi-channel eikonal framework and compares it with experimental data, including effects like color reconnection.
Findings
Model agrees with ATLAS data at 7 and 13 TeV
Color reconnection influences multiplicity distributions
Provides insights into particle production mechanisms
Abstract
The multiplicity distribution of charged particles produced in the central rapidity region () is calculated within the multi-channel eikonal model using the AGK cutting rules and compared with ATLAS data at and 13 TeV. The effects of color reconnection and/or string percolation are discussed.
