Toward a Special \textbf{$E_6\to G(2) \times SU(3)_A$} Embedding for Standard Model and Dark Matter and an $E_7$ Completion Proposal
Nicol\`o Masi

TL;DR
The paper proposes a novel embedding of $E_6$ into a framework that naturally incorporates the Standard Model and a dark matter sector, with a special symmetry breaking chain involving $G(2)$ and $SU(3)_A$, and extends to an $E_7$ completion.
Contribution
It introduces a unique non-regular $E_6$ embedding with a minimal scalar sector, suppresses proton decay mediators, and provides a consistent gauge coupling unification including dark matter.
Findings
Successful gauge coupling unification consistent with $E_6$
Dark glueballs from $G(2)$ confinement are predicted
Cosmological analysis shows natural dilution of monopoles
Abstract
We developed a unified framework based on a special (non-regular) embedding of the exceptional group in which the main stage of symmetry breaking chain realizes . The exceptional factor plays the role of a hidden strong sector, while acts as an ancestor of the electroweak gauge group. A minimal scalar sector is organized around a \(\mathbf{650}\)-based \(E_6\) Higgs sector. Its components and implement the subsequent breaking steps and . The \emph{speciality} of this symmetry breaking establishes the feature of \textit{darkness}. Defining an hypercharge from the generator of is not sufficient to recover the exact Standard Model hypercharges, leading to the necessity of an uplift which introduces a proper additional…
