TL;DR
This paper provides an overview of light meson form factors, discussing classical models, quantum field theory amplitudes, and key theoretical methods for understanding pion, kaon, eta, and eta' form factors.
Contribution
It offers a concise synthesis of theoretical approaches and recent developments in the study of light meson form factors.
Findings
Summary of classical and quantum models for meson form factors
Comparison of theoretical methods for calculating form factors
Overview of experimental and theoretical results for pion, kaon, eta, eta'
Abstract
We give an introduction to and a short overview of light meson form factors. We first discuss the classical picture and how it then fits in with amplitudes in quantum field theory. We give a short overview of the main theoretical methods and then discuss pion, kaon, eta and eta' form factors.
