Boning Wang

TL;DR
This paper investigates the conditions and properties of distance one surgeries between lens spaces of the form L(p,1) and L(q,2) using the d-invariant surgery formula, focusing on odd p and q.
Contribution
It applies the d-invariant surgery formula to analyze surgeries between specific lens spaces, providing new insights into their topological relationships.
Findings
Characterization of surgeries between L(p,1) and L(q,2)
Conditions for homologically essential knots involved
Results on the possible outcomes of such surgeries
Abstract
We mainly use the d-invariant surgery formula established by Wu and Yang \cite{wu2025surgerieslensspacestype} to study the distance one surgeries along a homologically essential knot between lens spaces of the form and where are odd integers.
