Ismail Huseynov, Arzu Ahmadova, Agamirza E. Bashirov

TL;DR
This paper investigates the partial exact controllability of two semilinear heat exchanger systems, identifying subspaces where control is achievable despite the systems not being fully controllable.
Contribution
It introduces the concept of partial exact controllability for semilinear heat exchangers and characterizes the specific subspaces where control can be exerted.
Findings
Identified subspaces where systems are exactly controllable
Established partial controllability for both heat exchanger models
Provided mathematical conditions for controllability in subspaces
Abstract
In this paper, we study two semilinear systems describing a monotubular and a two-stream heat exchanger. Neither system is exactly controllable; however, for each we specify a subspace of the state space with respect to which the system is exactly controllable, thus establishing partial exact controllability.
