Qi-Nan Wang, Ding-Kun Lian, Hua-Xing Chen, Wei Chen

TL;DR
This paper uses QCD sum rules to predict the masses of heavy quarkonium hybrid mesons with exotic quantum numbers $J^{PC}=2^{+-}$, providing guidance for experimental searches in specific decay channels.
Contribution
It constructs new currents with three Lorentz indices and calculates correlation functions to extract the masses of $2^{+-}$ hybrid states, a novel approach for these exotic quantum numbers.
Findings
Mass of $ar{c}Gc$ hybrid is about 4.49 GeV.
Mass of $ar{b}Gb$ hybrid is about 10.48 GeV.
Suggests experimental search channels for these hybrids.
Abstract
We investigate the heavy quarkonium hybrid mesons with exotic quantum numbers via QCD sum rule method. We construct the currents with three Lorentz indices and calculate the correlation functions up to dimension six at the leading order of . The states with are extracted by constructing the corresponding projection operators. The obtained results indicate that the masses of and hybrid states are about and , respectively. We suggest to search for hybrid meson with in and final states.
