TL;DR
This paper constructs new ${ m N}=1$ supersymmetric Pati-Salam models with extra $SU(2)$ gauge symmetries from intersecting D6-branes, achieving three-family models with reduced exotic particles and interesting gauge coupling properties.
Contribution
It introduces a novel method of adding extra D6-brane stacks to build three-family supersymmetric Pati-Salam models with extended gauge symmetries and fewer exotic particles.
Findings
Eight new classes of models with extended gauge symmetries.
Successful construction of three-family models from non-rigid D6-branes.
Models with reduced filler branes and no $USp(N)$ gauge symmetry.
Abstract
By introducing an extra stack of D6-branes to standard supersymmetric Pati-Salam models, we extend the landscape of its complete search. In this construction, the -stack of D6-branes is introduced besides the standard -stacks. More intersections from the extra stacks of D6-branes appear, and thus Higgs/Higgs-like particles arise from more origins. Among these models, we find eight new classes of supersymmetric Pati-Salam models with gauge symmetries and , where -stack of D6-branes carries the gauge symmetries and , respectively. The can be broken down to the diagonal gauge symmetry via bifundamental Higgs fields. In such a way, we for the first…
