TL;DR
This study investigates the decay modes of the $D_{s0}^*(2317)^+$ meson using a coupled channels approach and the local hidden gauge model, providing theoretical decay widths and discussing implications for its nature.
Contribution
It offers a detailed molecular picture of the $D_{s0}^*(2317)^+$ decay processes, including strong and radiative channels, with new considerations like $ ext{pi}^0- ext{eta}$ mixing and anomalous terms.
Findings
Strong decay width around 77 keV
Radiative decay width about 1.7 keV
$ ext{pi}^0- ext{eta}$ mixing can double the decay width
Abstract
We study the strong decay of to considering the coupled channels of and within a picture for the interaction based on the local hidden gauge approach. We also address the problem of the radiative decay to , using the same information obtained from the molecular picture. We obtain a strong width of the of about from coupled channels interaction and a radiative decay of about . We also show that the extra consideration of mixing can double the strong decay width to values around . The anomalous terms for the radiative decay are considered for the first time, but they are found negligible. We make a thorough discussion of this and other results to the light of the recent measurement of Belle for the ratio of these two…
