The lonely runner conjecture holds for nine runners
Matthieu Rosenfeld

TL;DR
This paper proves the lonely runner conjecture for nine runners by improving upon previous methods used for eight runners, advancing the understanding of this mathematical problem.
Contribution
The paper introduces enhanced techniques that extend the proof of the lonely runner conjecture from eight to nine runners.
Findings
The conjecture holds for nine runners.
Improved methods enable the extension from eight to nine runners.
The proof advances the mathematical understanding of the conjecture.
Abstract
We prove that the lonely runner conjecture holds for nine runners. Our proof is based on a couple of improvements of the method we used to prove the conjecture for eight runners.
