The Landau-Migdal parameter and quenching factor from the analysis of the Gamow-Teller strength distributions in medium-heavy-mass doubly-closed-shell parent nuclei
V.I. Bondarenko, M.H. Urin

TL;DR
This paper determines the Landau-Migdal parameter and quenching factor for Gamow-Teller strength distributions in medium-heavy doubly-closed-shell nuclei by comparing experimental data with theoretical models.
Contribution
It provides new estimates of the Landau-Migdal parameter and quenching factor based on detailed analysis of experimental and theoretical Gamow-Teller strength distributions.
Findings
Values of the Landau-Migdal parameter are derived for specific nuclei.
Quenching factors are quantified for the studied nuclei.
Comparison with previous studies shows consistency and differences.
Abstract
The Landau-Migdal parameter and quenching factor for the Gamow-Teller strength distributions in the 48Ca, 90Zr, 132Sn and 208Pb parent nuclei are deduced from a detailed comparison of experimental distributions (obtained for the \b{eta}^((-)) -channel) with respective strength functions evaluated within the semi-microscopic Particle-Hole Dispersive Optical Model. The deduced values are compared with the values obtained in other studies.
