Xiao-Lin Wang, Rui Sun, Li-Ting Wang

TL;DR
This paper provides theoretical predictions for leptonic and semileptonic decays of the $D^{*}_{s}$ meson within the Standard Model, highlighting their potential observability in future high-luminosity experiments.
Contribution
It offers detailed calculations of decay widths, branching fractions, and asymmetries for $D^{*}_{s}$ decays, which are novel predictions for future experimental verification.
Findings
Branching fractions of order 10^{-5} for leptonic decays.
Branching fractions of order 10^{-7} for semileptonic decays.
Decays are expected to be observable in upcoming experiments.
Abstract
With the potential prospects of the at high-luminosity heavy-flavor experiments in the future, we investigated the CKM-favored and tree-dominated leptonic and semileptonic ( and ) weak decays in the Standard Model (SM). The theoretical predictions and some discussions for the observable quantities including the total width of mesons, the branching fractions of leptonic and semileptonic weak decays, the lepton spin asymmetry and forward-backward asymmetry are presented. Numerically, the weak decays of and have relatively large branching fractions of the order and …
