TL;DR
This paper provides a detailed analysis of the V570 Per binary system, determining fundamental stellar parameters, chemical abundances, and evolutionary status through combined observational data and modeling.
Contribution
It offers the first comprehensive characterization of V570 Per, including precise stellar parameters, chemical abundances, and evolutionary predictions using MESA models.
Findings
Primary star has a mass of 1.4569 M_sun and a temperature of 6556 K.
Secondary star has a mass of 1.3579 M_sun and a temperature of 6468 K.
The system is approximately 577 million years old and likely originated from the Melotte 25 cluster.
Abstract
This study presents a comprehensive analysis of the detached binary system V570\,Per through combined photometric, spectroscopic, and astrometric observations. By disentangling the composite spectra, precise fundamental parameters and detailed chemical abundances were determined for both stars. The primary component has a mass of , a radius of , an effective temperature of K, and a metallicity of dex, while the secondary has a mass of , a radius of , an effective temperature of K, and a metallicity of dex. The system is estimated to be Myr old with a synchronized orbit. The available O-C data imply a minimum mass of 0.57 …
