Konishi lifts a black hole
Jaehyeok Choi, Eunwoo Lee

TL;DR
This paper studies the quantum cohomology in N=4 super Yang-Mills theory, revealing how quantum corrections pair and lift extra cohomologies that cause mismatches in BPS spectra between S-dual theories.
Contribution
It demonstrates how quantum corrections to the supercharge Q, derived from the Konishi anomaly, resolve discrepancies in BPS spectra by pairing and lifting extra cohomologies.
Findings
Quantum-corrected Q pairs and lifts extra cohomologies.
Resolves BPS spectrum mismatch between S-dual theories.
Shows the role of Konishi anomaly in quantum cohomology.
Abstract
We investigate the \emph{quantum} cohomology of a supercharge in super Yang-Mills theory. Recent analyses have revealed a mismatch between the one-loop BPS spectra of the S-dual and theories. The theory contains a pair of additional graviton (monotone) and non-graviton (fortuitous) cohomologies, whose net contributions cancel in the superconformal index. We show that the quantum-corrected , inferred from the generalized Konishi anomaly, pairs and lifts these extra cohomologies.
