TL;DR
This paper reports evidence of transverse polarization of the $\\Xi^0$ hyperon in $\\psi(3686)$ decays, with precise measurements of decay parameters, branching fractions, and CP observables, using a large data sample from BESIII.
Contribution
First evidence of $\\Xi^0$ transverse polarization in $\\psi(3686)$ decays with improved measurements of decay parameters and CP observables.
Findings
Evidence of $\\Xi^0$ transverse polarization with 4.4$\\sigma$ significance.
Precise measurements of decay parameters and branching ratios.
CP observables consistent with CP conservation within current uncertainties.
Abstract
Using events collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, we report an evidence of transverse polarization with a significance of 4.4, a precise measurement of the branching fraction and the ratios between the -wave and -wave contributions of . The weak decay parameters (, ) and the angular distribution () are also measured with higher precision compared to the previous measurements. Furthermore, two the observables are also determined to be and ~rad, which are still consistent with conservation at 1 level under the current statistics.
