Measurements of the cross sections of $e^{+}e^{-}\to \Sigma_{c}\bar{\Sigma}_{c}$ and $\Lambda_c^{+}\bar{\Sigma}_{c}^{-}$ near kinematic thresholds
BESIII Collaboration

TL;DR
This study used BESIII data to search for specific baryon-antibaryon production processes near threshold energies, setting upper limits on their cross sections due to no observed signals.
Contribution
First experimental search for these baryon-antibaryon processes near thresholds, providing upper limits on their cross sections at multiple energies.
Findings
No signals observed for the studied processes.
Upper limits on cross sections are established.
Results constrain theoretical models of baryon production.
Abstract
Based on annihilation data collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, searches for the (, and ) processes, as well as for the isospin-violating process , are conducted for the first time at , , , , and GeV. As no signals are observed for all the above channels, the upper limits on their Born cross sections at the 90 confidence level are reported.
