Xiao-Yu Zhang, Yi-Lin Song, Feng-Kun Guo

TL;DR
This paper estimates the cross sections for producing hidden-charm pentaquarks in electron-positron collisions and predicts branching fractions for related decays, suggesting feasible searches at future colliders.
Contribution
It provides the first order-of-magnitude estimates of cross sections and branching fractions for processes involving hidden-charm pentaquarks in electron-positron collisions.
Findings
Cross section for $e^+e^- o J/\psi p ar p$ is about 4 fb at 6 GeV.
Cross section for $e^+e^- o P_c ar p$ is less than 0.1 pb.
Branching fraction of $ o J/\psi p ar p$ is around 2×10^{-6}.
Abstract
The discoveries of the hidden-charm pentaquarks by the LHCb Collaboration have been not confirmed by other experiments yet. It is desirable to investigate the feasibility of observing them in other experiments. We present an order-of-magnitude estimate of the cross section of the process, where the hidden-charm pentaquarks may be searched for, and find it to be of when the c.m. energy is around 6 GeV. The cross section for is then estimated to be . Thus, it is promising to search for at the future high-luminosity super tau-charm facilities with annual integrated luminosity about . We also predict the branching fraction of to be of , which can be tested at factories.
