Frequency conversion in topological plasmonic THz photo-mixer
Hamid Javadi

TL;DR
This paper explores a novel explanation for coherent frequency down-conversion in a plasmonic THz photo-mixer, aiming to guide future experimental characterization of the device.
Contribution
It introduces an alternative theoretical explanation for the observed phenomena in a topological plasmonic THz photo-mixer.
Findings
Proposes a new interpretation of frequency conversion mechanisms.
Suggests experimental pathways for device characterization.
Enhances understanding of plasmonic THz photo-mixers.
Abstract
We propose an alternative explanation for the observed coherent down-conversion in a laser-enabled plasmonic photo-mixer involving infrared, millimeter-wave, microwave photons. We will offer a path toward full experimental characterization of the device.
