Non-conformal branes wrapped on a disk
Minwoo Suh

TL;DR
This paper classifies and analyzes disk solutions derived from non-conformal Dp-branes, revealing common features like monopoles and smeared branes, with some notable exceptions, enhancing understanding of their global geometry.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive classification and geometric analysis of disk solutions from non-conformal Dp-branes, extending prior spindle solution studies.
Findings
Disk solutions share common features such as monopoles and smeared branes.
Most solutions exhibit similar global geometric properties.
Exceptions to common features are identified and discussed.
Abstract
We classify the disk solutions which are obtained from the spindle solutions from non-conformal D-branes recently constructed by Boisvert and Ferrero. Then we study the global geometry of the disk solutions. We discover several common features of disk solutions, , monopoles and smeared branes, in most cases, but there are also exceptions.
