TL;DR
This paper investigates strange pentaquarks with hidden heavy quark pairs using a coupled-channel quark cluster model, revealing bound states and resonances, notably a resonance around 4500 MeV in the charm sector and clearer structures in the bottom sector.
Contribution
It introduces a coupled-channel quark cluster model analysis of strange pentaquarks with hidden heavy quark pairs, identifying new bound states and resonances.
Findings
Resonance at ~4500 MeV in hidden charm sector
Clearer structures observed in hidden bottom systems
Two types of $q^3$ color-octet configurations provide attraction
Abstract
The strange pentaquarks with hidden heavy quark pair ( and ) are investigated by the coupled-channel quark cluster model. Two types of the color-octet configurations are found to provide the attraction, which makes bound states, sharp resonances, and cusps in the baryon meson scattering. A resonance appears at around 4500 MeV in the strange hidden charm sector. Such structures are more clearly seen in the hidden bottom systems.
