de Sitter Holography and Carrollian Brane Theories
Andr\'es Argando\~na, Alberto Guijosa, Sergio Pati\~no-L\'opez

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that de Sitter holography can be derived from a Carrollian brane limit, paralleling the AdS case, and connects it to the holographic duality suggested by Hull through temporal T-duality.
Contribution
It establishes an exact analogy between AdS and dS holography via specific brane limits, linking de Sitter backgrounds to Carrollian brane theories.
Findings
De Sitter backgrounds arise from a Carrollian brane limit.
Analogous to AdS, dS holography can be derived from brane limits.
Connection to Hull's temporal T-duality in holography.
Abstract
It was discovered in recent months that the anti-de Sitter (AdS) backgrounds involved in all familiar top-down examples of AdS/CFT duality follow from applying a transverse nonrelativistic brane limit to string/M theory on (asymptotically) flat spacetime. In this note we show that an exactly analogous statement holds for de Sitter (dS) backgrounds relevant to particular instances of dS/CFT duality, which are obtained via a longitudinal Carrollian brane limit. This statement makes direct contact with the holographic duality inferred by Hull via temporal T-duality.
