Heavy Mesons to Open-Charmed Tetraquark Decays
Chun-Khiang Chua

TL;DR
This paper analyzes the decay processes of heavy mesons into newly observed open-charmed tetraquark states using a topological amplitude approach, providing insights into their decay mechanisms and potential exotic signatures.
Contribution
It introduces a topological amplitude framework to systematically study heavy meson decays into open-charmed tetraquarks, including weak and strong decay channels, and identifies modes with clear exotic flavor signatures.
Findings
Decay amplitudes for $T o DP$ and $DS$ are derived.
Weak decay modes of $ar{B}$ and $B_c$ into tetraquarks are decomposed.
Modes with unambiguous exotic flavor interpretation are highlighted.
Abstract
Motivated by the recent observations of , and open-charmed tetraquark states by LHCb, we study the decays of heavy mesons to these open-charmed tetraquark states () using a topological amplitude approach. We first obtain the and strong decay amplitudes by decomposing them into several topological amplitudes, where is a light pseudo-scalar particle and is a low-lying scalar particle. Subsequently, weak decay amplitudes of , and , decays are decomposed topologically. In addition, decays are also discussed. Using these results, modes with an unambiguous exotic interpretation in flavor are highlighted.
