Abedennour Dib, Aymeric Garnier, Alessandro Spallicci

TL;DR
This paper extends the Aichelburg-Sexl tensor to include angular velocity for massless particles and explores the potential for photon self-force effects like frequency shifts.
Contribution
It introduces tensorial spherical harmonics to generalize the Aichelburg-Sexl tensor and advances the concept of photon self-force.
Findings
Generalized Aichelburg-Sexl tensor with angular velocity
Proposed framework for photon self-force and frequency shift
Foundational steps towards photon self-force theory
Abstract
We generalise the Aichelburg-Sexl Stress-Energy-Momentum tensor for massless particles to include motion with angular velocity, introducing tensorial spherical harmonics. Further, we make steps towards the concept of self-force for photons which could manifest as frequency shift.
