Abstract
Empathy is widely recognized as a vital attribute for effective collaboration and communication in the workplace, yet developing empathic skills and fostering it among colleagues remains a challenge. This study explores the potential of a collaborative digital storytelling platform - In Your Shoes - designed to promote empathic listening and interpersonal understanding through the structured exchange of personal narratives. A one-week intervention was conducted with employees from multiple organizations using the platform. Employing a mixed methods approach, we assessed quantitative changes in empathy using the Empathy Quotient (EQ) and qualitatively analyzed participant experiences through grounded theory.
