On some properties of that strange component of Nature called "time"
Maurizio Gasperini

TL;DR
This paper explores fundamental questions about the nature of time, its properties, and its relationship with space, addressing concepts like time travel, past existence, and the future's reality.
Contribution
It provides a philosophical and theoretical analysis of time's properties and its distinction from space, contributing to foundational understanding in physics.
Findings
Time may have properties distinct from space.
The past and future may have different ontological statuses.
The paper offers a conceptual framework for understanding time's nature.
Abstract
Are time-travels possible? is the past still existing? and is the future already existing? We try to give an answer to these an other questions concerning the properties of time and the close connection (but deep physical difference) between time and space.
