Abstract
We study pseudodifferential operators associated to microlocally defined normed symbol spaces of limited regularity, introduced by J. Sj\"ostrand. Boundedness of such operators on modulation spaces is obtained under suitable conditions, and continuity properties of the Weyl composition product are established.
