Equivariant unirationality of toric varieties
Andrew Kresch, Yuri Tschinkel

TL;DR
This paper introduces a torsor-based obstruction criterion for equivariant unirationality of toric varieties, demonstrating its sufficiency for finite group actions derived from torus automorphisms.
Contribution
It presents a new torsor-theoretic approach to determine equivariant unirationality, specifically for toric varieties with finite group actions from torus automorphisms.
Findings
Obstruction criterion for equivariant unirationality introduced
Criterion is sufficient for certain finite group actions
Applicable to automorphism-induced actions on toric varieties
Abstract
We introduce a torsor-theoretic obstruction to equivariant unirationality and show that it is also sufficient for actions of finite groups on toric varieties arising from automorphisms of the torus.
