Entanglement Entropy of Conformal Field Theory in All Dimensions
Xin Jiang, Haitang Yang

TL;DR
This paper introduces a universal field-theoretic approach to compute entanglement entropy in conformal field theories across all dimensions, accommodating arbitrary entangling surface geometries and providing a proof of the Ryu-Takayanagi formula.
Contribution
It presents a novel, general method for calculating entanglement entropy in CFTs that works for any shape of the entangling surface and offers a formal proof of the Ryu-Takayanagi formula.
Findings
Method applicable to all dimensions of CFTs
Works for arbitrary entangling surface shapes
Provides a formal proof of the Ryu-Takayanagi formula
Abstract
We provide a field-theoretic method to calculate entanglement entropy of CFT in all dimensions. This method works for entangling surfaces of arbitrary shape. The formalism manifests a field-theoretic proof of the Ryu-Takayanagi formula.
