TL;DR
This paper explores stream-based real-time monitoring of EVM networks to enhance developer and governance insights amidst the growth of rollup networks in Ethereum.
Contribution
It proposes a basic monitoring pipeline for real-time blockchain data analysis, addressing the need for improved oversight of EVM networks and rollup ecosystems.
Findings
Stream-based monitoring can improve real-time insights into EVM networks.
The proposed pipeline offers a foundational approach for blockchain data monitoring.
Enhances understanding of rollup networks for developers and governance.
Abstract
We believe that leveraging real-time blockchain operational data is of particular interest in the context of the current rapid expansion of rollup networks in the Ethereum ecosystem. Given the compatible but also competing ground that rollups offer for applications, stream-based monitoring can be of use both to developers and to EVM networks governance. In this paper, we discuss this perspective and propose a basic monitoring pipeline.
