J. de Lucas, X. Rivas, S. Vilarino, B.M. Zawora

TL;DR
This paper develops a Marsden--Meyer--Weinstein reduction method for $k$-contact field theories, providing new techniques and clarifying previous contact reduction literature through illustrative examples.
Contribution
It introduces a novel $k$-contact reduction framework and clarifies inaccuracies in existing contact reduction literature.
Findings
Developed a Marsden--Meyer--Weinstein $k$-contact reduction method
Provided several mathematical and physical examples
Reviewed and clarified previous contact reduction literature
Abstract
This work devises a Marsden--Meyer--Weinstein -contact reduction. Our techniques are illustrated with several examples of mathematical and physical relevance. As a byproduct, we review the previous contact reduction literature so as to clarify and to solve some inaccuracies.
