Phenomenology of $D_{s1}$ mesons radiative transitions
A.E.Bondar, A.I.Milstein

TL;DR
This paper analyzes the radiative transitions of $D_{s1}$ mesons, explaining their decay widths based on spin-orbit interactions, and predicts similar widths for related $B_{s1}$ and $B_{c1}$ mesons.
Contribution
It provides a phenomenological explanation for the differences in radiative decay widths of $D_{s1}$ mesons and predicts widths for $B_{s1}$ and $B_{c1}$ mesons.
Findings
The partial width for $D_{s1}(2460) o D_s o ext{gamma}$ is significantly larger than for $D_{s1}(2536)$.
The superposition of states with different total spins explains decay width differences.
Predicted partial widths for $B_{s1}$ and $B_{c1}$ mesons.
Abstract
We discuss radiative transitions and of -wave mesons. Since mesons have no a certain -parity, and the masses of quarks in these mesons differ significantly, then due to the spin-orbit interaction each of -wave mesons with the total angular momentum is a superposition of states with the total spin of quarks and . We explain why the partial width of radiative transition is significantly larger than the corresponding value for . We also predict the corresponding partial widths of and .
