Xiao-Yu Qi, Qi Wu, Xing-Dao Guo, Dian-Yong Chen

TL;DR
This paper investigates the hidden charm decay processes of D-wave charmonia using a meson loop mechanism, providing predictions for decay widths and ratios that can be tested in future experiments.
Contribution
It introduces a model to estimate decay widths of D-wave charmonia, determining parameters from known decays and predicting new decay ratios for experimental verification.
Findings
Partial width of $ ext{ψ}_2(3823) o J/ ext{ψ} ext{η}$ is approximately 30 keV.
The ratio of $ ext{ψ}_2(3823) o J/ ext{ψ} ext{η}$ to $ ext{ψ}_2(3823) o ext{γ} ext{χ}_{c1}$ is about 10%.
Predictions can be tested by BESIII, Belle II, and LHCb collaborations.
Abstract
The experimental observations of and make wave charmonia family abundant. In the present work, we investigate the hidden charm decay processes of spin triplets of the -wave charmonia with the meson loop mechanism. The model parameter is determined by reproducing the branching fraction of . With this range of model parameter values, the branching fractions (partial widths) of , , are estimated. Our estimations find that the partial width of is , and the partial width ratio of relative to is about , which could be tested by further precise…
