TL;DR
This paper combines photometric and kinematic data from Gaia DR3 to analyze the structure, membership, and dynamical state of the non-relaxed open cluster Stock 3, revealing its distance, age, and mass distribution.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive photometric and kinematic analysis of Stock 3, including membership determination, mass estimation, and dynamical status assessment, using Gaia DR3 data.
Findings
Distance: 2.945 ± 0.700 kpc
Age: 16.00 ± 4.00 Myr
Cluster is non-relaxed and dynamically evolving
Abstract
The study presents both photometric and kinematic analyses of the non-relaxed open cluster Stock 3 with Gaia DR3 which found to be positioned at 2.945 0.700 kpc and having an age of 16.00 4.00 Myr. We analyse the data to infer the membership and thus determine the total mass, IMF and the dynamical and kinematical status.
