On Analytical Solutions in Witten's Cubic Open String Field Theory
Ilmar Gahramanov

TL;DR
This paper reviews analytical solutions, especially the Erler-Schnabl solution, in Witten's cubic open string field theory focusing on the tachyon vacuum, providing insights into their structure and significance.
Contribution
It offers a concise review of key analytic solutions in open string field theory, highlighting the Erler-Schnabl solution's role in understanding the tachyon vacuum.
Findings
Analytic solutions describe the tachyon vacuum in open string field theory.
The Erler-Schnabl solution is a central focus for understanding the vacuum structure.
The review clarifies the mathematical form and physical implications of these solutions.
Abstract
This short review is based on the lecture given by the author at the Feza G\"ursey Physics Days School 2024. Here we briefly review analytic solutions (in particular, the Erler-Schnabl solution) of open cubic string field theory for the tachyon vacuum.
