TL;DR
This paper provides a detailed dataset from static and dynamic load tests on a concrete boxgirder bridge, including SHM data, to support structural assessment, model validation, and anomaly detection research.
Contribution
It offers an open-access, comprehensive dataset from full-scale load tests and SHM on a concrete bridge, filling a gap in available structural data for research.
Findings
Data captures bridge's response under various loads
System detects small mass variations effectively
Data supports model calibration and validation
Abstract
Load tests are an essential tool to verify the compliance of bridges with their design specifications and to assess their actual load-bearing capacity. In this paper, a series of static and dynamic load tests conducted on a concrete boxgirder bridge are documented. The bridge is equipped with a long-term Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) system, providing data covering an entire seasonal cycle upon request for academic research purposes. Due to the large amount of data, the full SHM data cannot be provided. The load test data is available on Zenodo. The objectives of the static and dynamic tests are (i) to capture the bridge's current condition under various loading scenarios while identifying potential structural weaknesses, (ii) to evaluate the system's sensitivity to small mass variations, and (iii) to generate data for model calibration and validation of anomaly detection…
