Heterotic String Field Theory with Manifest Spacetime Supersymmetry
Nathan Berkovits, Ulisses M. Portugal

TL;DR
This paper develops a heterotic string field theory framework using hybrid formalism that maintains manifest spacetime supersymmetry, focusing on the quadratic action and its relation to supergravity.
Contribution
It introduces a novel heterotic string field theory formulation with manifest $N=1$ $d=4$ supersymmetry using the hybrid formalism, extending previous open superstring approaches.
Findings
Constructed the quadratic term of the heterotic superstring field theory action.
Demonstrated the description of $N=1$ $d=10$ supergravity within the framework.
Established the use of three string fields in the action.
Abstract
Using the hybrid formalism with manifest spacetime supersymmetry, we construct the quadratic term in the heterotic superstring field theory action. As in open superstring field theory using the hybrid formalism, the heterotic string field theory action is constructed with three string fields and the massless sector describes supergravity in terms of superfields.
