Comparison of a pseudoscalar meson form factor in QCD with 3, 4, and 5 colors
Thomas DeGrand

TL;DR
This paper compares the pseudoscalar meson form factor across QCD simulations with 3, 4, and 5 colors, finding minimal dependence on the number of colors and consistency with vector meson dominance.
Contribution
It provides the first systematic comparison of pseudoscalar meson form factors in QCD with different numbers of colors at matched parameters.
Findings
Form factor dependence on momentum transfer is nearly independent of color number.
Results are consistent with vector meson dominance.
Minimal variation observed across different N_c simulations.
Abstract
I show comparisons of the pseudoscalar meson vector form factor from simulations of QCD with , 4 and 5 colors and flavors of degenerate mass fermions at a common (matched) fermion mass, lattice spacing, and simulation volume. The dependence of the form factor on the momentum transfer is nearly independent of the number of colors, and is consistent with the expectations of vector meson dominance.
