Baryogenesis from Primordial CP Violation
Venus Keus, Edward W. Kolb

TL;DR
This paper proposes a new baryogenesis mechanism where scalar asymmetries generated during a CP-violating inflationary phase are converted into baryon asymmetry via electroweak instantons in a three-Higgs doublet model.
Contribution
It introduces a novel baryogenesis scenario linking inflationary CP violation to baryon asymmetry through electroweak processes in a multi-Higgs framework.
Findings
Demonstrates a viable pathway for baryogenesis involving scalar asymmetries.
Shows the role of electroweak instantons in converting scalar asymmetries into baryon asymmetry.
Provides a theoretical model connecting inflationary CP violation to matter-antimatter asymmetry.
Abstract
We present a novel Baryogenesis mechanism in which an asymmetry of scalars in a three-Higgs doublet model produced exiting a CP-violating inflationary set-up is translated into an asymmetry of baryons through electroweak instantons.
