Wei Hao, M. Atif Sultan, Li-Juan Liu, En Wang

TL;DR
This paper investigates the strangeonium meson spectrum using a modified Godfrey-Isgur model with screening effects, explaining new BESIII states and predicting properties of various s-sbar states for future experimental validation.
Contribution
It introduces a modified model considering screening effects to better explain recent BESIII observations and provides detailed predictions for strangeonium states' masses and decay widths.
Findings
$h_1(1911)$ is identified as $h_1(2^1P_1)$ s-sbar state.
$X(2300)$ is identified as $h_1(3^1P_1)$ s-sbar state.
Masses and widths of multiple s-sbar states are predicted and compared.
Abstract
Motivated by two news states and observed by BESIII, we have investigated the mass spectrum and the strong decay properties of the strangeonium mesons within the modified Godfrey-Isgur model by considering the screening effects. We have determined the free parameters using the masses and widths of the well established states , , , , and . According to our results, and could be well explained as states and states, respectively. Meanwhile, the possible assignments of , , and as , , and are also discussed. Furthermore, the masses and widths of the , , , , , , and states are also given and compared with various theoretical…
