Guillaume Bossard, Axel Kleinschmidt, Ergin Sezgin

TL;DR
This paper constructs a covariant action for 6D (1,0) supergravity with multiple tensor multiplets and gauge anomalies, including a supersymmetric Green-Schwarz counterterm, advancing understanding of anomaly cancellation in such theories.
Contribution
It provides the first covariant action formulation for 6D supergravity with multiple tensor multiplets and anomalies, including anomaly counterterms.
Findings
Constructed the covariant action in the Henneaux-Teitelboim approach.
Derived the supersymmetric Green-Schwarz counterterm for gravitational anomalies.
Extended the understanding of anomaly cancellation in 6D supergravity with multiple tensor multiplets.
Abstract
We revisit six-dimensional (1,0) supergravity coupled to nT tensor multiplets and Yang-Mills fields for nT>1 for which no covariant action exists. We construct the action in the Henneaux-Teitelboim approach and in the presence of a gauge anomaly. We moreover obtain the supersymmetric Green-Schwarz counterterm for the gravitational anomaly for arbitrary matter content.
