Casimir energy between carbon nanotubes
Pablo Rodriguez-Lopez

TL;DR
This paper calculates the Casimir energy between two parallel carbon nanotubes at large distances, considering low and high temperature regimes using the Multiscattering formalism.
Contribution
It introduces a method to evaluate the Casimir energy between nanotubes at different temperature limits using the Multiscattering formalism.
Findings
Casimir energy decays with distance between nanotubes.
Temperature significantly affects the Casimir interaction.
Method applicable to other nanostructure interactions.
Abstract
We obtain the large distance limit of the Casimir energy between two equal parallel straight single wall carbon nanotubes by the use of the Multiscattering formalism, for low and high temperatures.
