(Non)displaceability in semitoric systems
Sonja Hohloch, Pedro Santos

TL;DR
This paper extends McDuff's probes method from toric to semitoric integrable systems to analyze the (non)displaceability of fibers in three specific examples, broadening the understanding of symplectic invariants.
Contribution
It generalizes the probes technique to semitoric systems and applies it to new examples, revealing their fiber displaceability properties.
Findings
Identified non-displaceable fibers in semitoric systems
Extended McDuff's method to a broader class of integrable systems
Provided new insights into symplectic invariants of semitoric systems
Abstract
We adapt and generalize McDuff's method of probes from toric system to so called semitoric integrable systems and apply it to study the (non)displaceability properties of the fibers of examples of semitoric integrable systems.
