Half-Wormholes in a Supersymmetric SYK Model
Stefan Forste, Saurabh Natu

TL;DR
This paper explores half-wormhole effects in a supersymmetric SYK model with a single time point, showing they restore factorization and break supersymmetry, extending understanding of non-averaged quantum gravity models.
Contribution
It identifies and analyzes half-wormhole contributions in a supersymmetric SYK model, demonstrating their role in restoring factorization and breaking supersymmetry.
Findings
Half-wormholes restore factorization in the supersymmetric SYK model.
Both wormholes and half-wormholes break supersymmetry.
The study extends non-averaged quantum gravity insights to supersymmetric contexts.
Abstract
We identify half-wormhole contributions to the non averaged supersymmetric SYK model in which time has been reduced to a point. As in previously studied examples, the inclusion of half-wormholes restores factorisation in the large limit. Wormholes as well as half-wormholes break supersymmetry.
